My Prayer

I have a fervent prayer for the USA today.

Dear Lord, Please do not forsake this great country as the nation's leaders try to turn us away from you. Please surround us, your children in the USA, with your angels to protect us. Give us the strength to profess our faith for you in even the most difficult of circumstances. Place conviction on the congressional leaders and the new President's hearts so that they will not falter in our support for your chosen people in Israel. Please cover President and Mrs. Bush with your hand so that they may be kept from harm. Please be with Pastor Warren so that he may witness to the unsaved masses with his prayer today. Please protect us as we are forced to accept lifestyles that go against your holy law. Give the church the strength to speak up when our rights are threatened and give our church leaders the words to say so that we can never be accused of harrassment or discrimination. In the name of Jesus, AMEN!
