Let's go to the Movies

The conservative comedy, "An American Carol" is now out on DVD for rental and for sale. I just received my copy from Amazon today and am looking forward to watching it this weekend. For those of you who don't know, Hollywood conservatives are a small, less vocal minority in the liberal, anything-goes city of Los Angeles. With lunatics like George Clooney, Barbra Streisand, and Rosie O'Donnell, foaming at the mouth to decry good solid conservative and mostly Republican Americans, sometimes it is hard to be heard.

This film stars Kelsey Grammer, and Kevin Farley (brother of comedian Chris Farley) and pokes fun at overall buffoon and liberal mouthpiece, Michael Moore. You probably remember Moore for his film Fahrenheit 9/11 that was proven to be full of lies about President Bush. I can't wait to see Michael Moore's lying butt skewered on my flat screen at home.

Auld Lang Syne

I wanted to post a New Year's shout-out to all my peeps in Salt Lake City, Rexburg, Bellevue, Seattle, Odessa, Belen, North-Texas, and yes even San Francisco.

2009 will be an interesting year. We will have a liberal, secular-progressive President in the White House who is looking to make his mark by fundamentally changing America. We have a liberal loud-mouth, "Negative Nancy" Pelosi, leading the House of Representatives and a liberal hot-head, "Horrible Harry" Reid, leading the Senate. And by no means do I want to forget that beacon of good cheer, Hillary Clinton, who will be the bitter scowling face of America throughout the world. What good can come of all that mess?

The senate election between Norm Coleman (R) and Al Franken (D) in Minnesota will once again be decided by endless recounts (which is the only way Democrats win anymore, well that is not entirely true, they also win by committing massive voter fraud, on a scale not even seen in communist countries or dictatorships). Boy, where do I sign up for all this fun?

Happy New Year indeed.

Israel's Forces are Massing in the East.

Israel is bringing tanks to the eastern border of Gaza and are calling reservist troops to prepare for a possible ground invasion of Gaza. Israel's foreign minister said the goal was to halt Gaza rocket fire on Israel for good, but not to reoccupy the territory.

In response to this, Syria has cut off peace-talks with Israel and much of the non-Arab world with the exception of the US, are asking Israel to show restraint and are stopping just short of condemning Israel's actions. Strangely, most of the European Union nations are NOT also condemning Hamas' bombing of Israel. In an interesting side-note, Hamas leaders have already fled Gaza and are hiding out elsewhere.

Anti-semitism is on the rise and I'm so afraid that the new administration will alter the US-Israeli relationship that has been in place almost since Israel was formed. We are big trouble if the relationship is changed.

Two-Face isn't just a villain from Batman...

This past week as the Mainstream Media gushed and practically wrote love poems about Obama's glistening and well defined pectorals, while singing his praises for working out regularly, I was reminded of how the same press crucified Bush over his "obsession with exercise"

Former Washington Post writer Jonathan Chait famously attacked Bush three years ago in an opinion piece for the Los Angeles Times headlined "The (over)exercise of power." Recounting how President Bush ran 3.5 miles a day and preached more cross-training to a federal judge, Chait fumed, "Am I the only person who finds this disturbing? ... What I mean is the fact that Bush has an obsession with exercise that borders on the creepy." Chait argued that Bush's passionate devotion to exercise was a dereliction of duty. "Does the leader of the free world need to attain that level of physical achievement?" he jeered. "It's nice for Bush that he can take an hour or two out of every day to run, bike or pump iron. Unfortunately, most of us have more demanding jobs than he does."

The press even used Bush's exercise regime as his excuse to avoid sitting down at a table and talking with that "model of decorum" Cindy Sheehan. When Sheehan was just down the road from Bush's Crawford, TX ranch, she said, "Bush should take fewer bike rides to have more time to focus on the 'the nation's work." Aren't you glad we have this loon Cindy Sheehan around to tell us these things?

The Liberal Media has made it easier for us in Middle America to understand:

Fit Republican president = Selfish, indulgent, creepy fascist.

Fit Democratic president = Disciplined, health-conscious Adonis role model.

Caroline, We Hardly Know Ye...

Caroline Kennedy (D) has expressed serious interest in replacing Hillary Clinton (D) in the Senate and David Paterson (D) the governor of New York has expressed the same level of interest in appointing her to the seat. Isn't this just what we need? Another Kennedy in the federal government.

An interesting note, New York politicos are concerned about Caroline Kennedy's lack of experience. Kennedy has never held political office or shaped public policy. I find this incredibly hypocrital considering that Obama, who has never accomplished anything during his government service, was overwhelmingly elected to the Presidency by these same people.

Don't Mince Words

Today in her interview on Fox News Sunday Laura Bush was asked by Chris Wallace if there was anything she wanted to get off her chest that she had been keeping inside for the last eight years.
The exchange went like this:

CW: Mrs. Bush would you like to get anything off your chest about the last eight years? Something you've kept inside?

LB: You mean about the press?

CW: Anything. Would you like to say something about the press?

LB: I was just kidding. But do I think the press has been fair? NO!

Good Job Laura. The press is so one sided and favors liberal democrats to such an extent that it influences people's opinions and creates perceptions that are not true.

Self-Defense

Israel is responding to Hamas-backed rocket attacks originating from Gaza, with the strongest barrage of bombs in a decade. While Israeli casualties have been limited to 1, and Palestinian casualties are at 225, it is important to remember that Hamas launches attacks from and hides behind civilians in heavily populated areas.

The United States, Israel's closest ally, blamed Hamas. "These people are nothing but thugs, so Israel is going to defend its people against terrorists like Hamas that indiscriminately kill their own people," White House spokesman Gordon Johndroe said.

I think that Israel has the right to defend its borders and its people with whatever means are necessary. I personally think Israel should carpet-bomb Gaza and the West Bank and rid the world of these terrorists once and for all. Remember that the Palestinians are the same people who danced in the streets when the 9/11 attacks occured. Those animals celebrated the death of innocent Americans.

It will be interesting to see how President Obama will respond to Hamas' continued aggression against peaceful, civilized Israel. I'm hoping for total Nuclear destruction of Radical Islamic groups and the countries that harbor them. We'll see...

Must See TV!

This Sunday 12/28/2008 First Lady Laura Bush will appear on Fox News Sunday which airs in the early morning on the FOX Network and in the afternoon on the Fox News Channel. She is going to reflect on her husband's last eight years as President.

Laura Bush is a strong yet comforting woman who has a lot to say.

Check out local listings and don't miss this one. Laura Bush will be the last genuine, warm and caring First Lady, at least until we elect a conservative Republican President again...

Merry ChristmaRamaKwanzukah

This tradition of melding all of the holidays together is ridiculous. In order to be politically correct and avoid offending anyone, the heathen liberals who created this "Holiday Stew" have offended me. Kwanzaa was formed by 60's radicals who wanted to celebrate the "best" tenets of Marxism and communism and Ramadan is celebrated by Islam, you know, the "religion of peace." Christmas has ceased to be about the birth of Jesus and is now worshipped on the altar piled high with gifts and has become so commercial that it has overflowed to Hanukkah as well.

For those who don't know the meaning of Hanukkah, here it is:

Hanukkah, from the Hebrew word for "dedication" or "consecration", marks the re-dedication of the Temple in Jerusalem after its desecration by the forces of Antiochus IV and commemorates the "miracle of the container of oil". According to the Talmud, at the re-dedication following the victory of the Maccabees over the Seleucid Empire, there was only enough consecrated olive oil to fuel the eternal flame in the Temple for one day. Miraculously, the oil burned for eight days, which was the length of time it took to press, prepare and consecrate fresh olive oil.

I am wishing my christian friends Merry Christmas as the birth of our Saviour. To my Jewish friends I wish Happy Hanukkah. To everyone else, get saved by Jesus Christ the light of the world, and then we can talk.

Where has accountability gone?

The big banks that have taken part of the $700 billion dollar bailout are now refusing to answer questions about where the money has gone. They were supposed to use the money to lend but according to a recent Associated Press investigative article, these same banks have spent $1.6 billion of BAILOUT MONEY for executive compensation and bonuses.

Here is an article showing which banks have and are expected to take part of the bailout.

Here is a blog post showing which banks to date have NOT taken bailout money.

I won't recommend doing anything with your money but I am seriously thinking about changing my banks. I've provided you with the above info so you can make an informed decision if you decide to do the same. These banks are behaving OUTRAGEOUSLY!

Pennywise but Pound Foolish

This year as part of the Pope's Christmas message, he decried the selfishness that has brought on the global financial crisis. Although I am not Catholic, he had some very pointed but very correct things to say. I believe that this financial crisis is a serious message from God that we have to stop living out of our means and running up our credit cards and trying to compete with our neighbors for material things. I believe that Americans are learning this lesson the hard way. Credit card limits are being slashed and houses that most people cannot afford are suddenly worth less than the loans. At least Americans are starting to finally conserve gas which is keeping the price of Oil and gas very low.

Life is not about selfishly buying everything you want. As Christians we are supposed to buy what we need and depend on God for those things.

Here is the pope's message.

The Day that Free Speech Died

Gay Activists are pushing President Elect Obama to pass legislation making it a hate crime to voice opposition to Gay Lifestyles. People who say any negative thing about Gay lifestyle will be punished as a hate crime.
This is an assault on MY first amendment right to speak out on things I don't believe in.
I believe there will be an assault by sinful Gay activists on the public school and also on Christian churches. No longer will churches be able to decry homosexual behavior and may even have to allow Gay people to serve as deacons and pastors.
Forcing people to accept the gay lifestyle puts us on the slippery slope to accept things like pedophilia and incest. The great pastor, Rick Warren who will be giving the invocation at Obama's inaugaration is totally correct.

THIS IS WRONG!

You got me under pressure...

In regards to my negative review of the book "Twilight", my mother has brought down the hammer and has called my review, "inexcusable and overly harsh". I sincerely apologize to my mom and my Aunt Loyce if I have offended them.

Hated the book, LOVED the movie

I have just returned from seeing "Twilight" with my mom. I was expecting the worst after reading half of the first book, but was very pleasantly surprised. Where the pace of the book was plodding, the movie was graceful. Where the writing in the book was sophomoric and poorly written, the onscreen chemistry and dialogue was genuine and rich. Where the book's plot was cliche-ridden and schlocky, the movie flowed smoothly and gracefully. This movie is one of the best movies I have ever seen in my entire life. The cinematography was flawless, and the acting was top notch. If the movie screenwriter had been the author of the books, I would be able to declare the books literary masterpieces. Unfortunately that is not the case. Stephanie Meyer has no business writing a grocery list much less a novel. Go see the movie and avoid the book like the plague.

If kissing a smoker is like kissing an ashtray, does that mean kissing a liberal is like kissing an ass?

In town to receive her Kennedy Center Honor this week, Barbara Streisand, a vocal critic of President George W. Bush, was a guest at the White House where she and Bush kissed and hugged in the receiving line.
Talk about surreal. I bet people at that party had to pinch themselves to see if they were dreaming. Streisand regularly refers to Bush's two elections in 2000 and 2004 as stolen.

The Kennedy Center Honors will be broadcast on CBS on December 30, 2008.

With 56 you get eggroll, with 41 you get filibuster...

Republican Saxby Chamblis of Georgia won his run-off election Tuesday so the count in the Senate is 41-R, 56-D, and 2-I (both of which caucus with the Democrats). Now all we need is a decisive victory over that idiot Al Franken in Minnesota.

There will be no supermajority of liberals in Congress.

Arizona goes Republican!

Now that the Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano (D) has accepted the job as Director of Homeland Security with the Obama administration, Arizona will have a Republican governor once again! Secretary of State Jan Brewer (R) will move up to the position of governor as mandated by the Arizona state constitution. With a majority of Republicans in the state legistlature and a good solid Republican governor in the chair, Arizona is now once again a proud RED STATE! Now if we could just get those pesky Democrats to move out of state or something!

And so it came to pass that the liberal media begat liberal...IDIOTS!

A web video shows how one sided the media has become. Obama supporters leaving their polling places were interviewed and the results were astounding. For example: People who profess to be staunch liberals didn't know which party controls congress. But all the Obama voters knew who Palin was in reference to the $150,000 worth of clothes she bought with RNC money. Can you say BIAS?? Liberals have sent the video's creator death threats for exposing this truth.
Watch and laugh at these fools while you weep for your country. Every single person interviewed on this video said that they get their news from CNN, NPR, PBS, Jon Stewart, and Bill Maher. All of these news agencies and newscasters are liberal mouthpieces.

Must Read!

There's a book out called, "What's so great about Christianity?" It offers an unapologetic look at why atheists are wrong and how intelligent people can believe in God through faith. It is available in paperback from Amazon for $10.19. If you purchase this book, please purchase it through my amazon.com link at the top of this blog.

The Devil comes up from Georgia...

This article is a great read about how important the run-off senatorial election in Georgia is to keeping the Dems in Congress in check. Please read, inform yourself and pass on to anyone you know who might live in Georgia. We'll all be affected if the right person doesn't win this run-off.

A message from the upcoming White House Chief of Staff

This guy nails Rahm Emanuel. He is a profane, partisan politician. He will serve Obama well but will destroy the honor that has been brought back to the White House by Bush.

Leader? Cornerstone? Founding Father?

The newest issue of GQ magazine (never a fan of conservative causes) hails Teddy Kennedy as a "cornerstone of a country we love, a founding father of the nation as we know it."

When Teddy Kennedy climbing out of Boston Harbor with a bottle of scotch in one hand and a dead girl's pantyhose in the other is hailed as a cornerstone of anything, well... that makes Hugo Chavez of Venezuela look positively presidential by comparison. Sheesh!

Partisanship, Schmartisanship.

As staunch of a Republican that Ann Coulter can famously be, she has never been a HUGE fan of George W. Bush. She has openly criticized our president on many of the stances he has taken over the last eight years. In her latest column she gives specific examples of the many times that GWB has crossed the aisle and extended his hand to those whose feelings towards him run the gamut, from mild annoyance to feverish hostility.

Her column this week is relatively calm by Ann Coulter standards and a very interesting read. Enjoy!

What's next? Watchdog

I'm going to use my blog as a type of watchdog. I'll be watching and reporting on the liberal agenda of our upcoming federal government and tell you all about it here. My blog is already getting some readership beyond my family here in the Chandler, AZ area. When the 2010 mid-term elections roll around I'm going to educate people in every state on who they should vote for and support so we can roll back the liberal agenda of the godless heathens who will be running our Congress starting in January.

Please feel free to point both like-minded people and any others you know towards my blog. I am going to start getting more in depth so people leave my site better educated about the issues affecting us today. I want to become a regional conservative blog that is read widely.

Support for Israel

Please don't ever forget that we are called upon as true Christians to profess an undying love and support for Israel. Support for Israel is not growing these days, it is diminishing. But whatever happens also never forget this:

The Bible tells us that as Israel becomes more vulnerable in the last days, that is precisely the moment that God rises up to defend her. The ultimate fighting lion will arise and destroy His enemies and THEY WILL NOT SEE IT COMING.

Barbra Streisand Overcomes Stage Fright. Issues Royal Decree.

Barbra Streisand stepped out of her Malibu mansion wearing a flowing Donna Karan caftan and decided to honor the teeming masses with this pearl. "After 2 stolen elections, this time, in this election over 57 million Americans made their voices heard. I am so proud of our country today…miraculously overnight we have regained the respect of the world. From England to Africa, people are celebrating Barack Obama’s victory…proof that he is the first truly global President."

Hey Barbra, stick to acting and singing. Wait, on second thought, please just stick to singing, I saw "The Mirror Has Two Faces."

Great Minds Think Alike.

Recently the "stunningly brilliant" Roseanne Barr lashed out at black voters for supporting the gay-marriage ban in California in huge numbers. She called them ignorant for being led by the "immoral clergy". She was supported by that bastion of morality...Rosie O'Donnell.

We'll always be indebted to these two idiots for their nuggets of wisdom.

Protecting the unborn.

A South Carolina priest is telling his parishioners to repent if they voted for Barack Obama because of Obama's stance on abortion.

The Archbishop of San Francisco has barred Nancy Pelosi from taking communion, due to her stance on abortion and the Bishop of Delaware has stopped just short of requiring that VP Joe Biden be excommunicated for his support of abortion rights.

Who are the bottom 5?

Since I shared with you who the 5 Best US Presidents are, I thought it was only fair to give equal time to the worst failures in American history. Without further ado, the 5 Worst US Presidents are:
(in order from best to worst)
1. Warren G. Harding (R)
2. Andrew Johnson (D)
3. Herbert Hoover (R)
4. Bill Clinton (D)
5. Jimmy Carter (D)

No one can accuse ME of bias.

What's your address?

Number One Observatory Circle. Who lives here? This is the official residence of the Vice-President of the United States.
It is a Queen-Anne style house and was originally unpainted. Look at the two pics of then and now.

Good Times!

This was a momentous occasion, The second Inaugaration of George W. Bush, one of the top 3 best US Presidents ever.
Just in case you're wondering, The top 5 Best US Presidents are: (in order of importance)

Hillary Clinton...Secretary of State?

It is being reported that Hillary Clinton is being considered and vetted for Secretary of State. Isn't this just what we need?

A phony, carpetbagging Senator who leaves behind a string of failed policies, legislation and campaigns in her wake, is now going to be the face of the US throughout the world.

Condoleeza Rice travels to the Mid-East

The first African-American Female Secretary of State has travelled to the Mid-East to talk about peace. Ms. Rice is a powerful woman who has nerves of steel and the patience of an angel. She will be sorely missed when the new administration takes power next year.

Hillary Clinton's campaign manager to take a job in the Obama administration.

Patti Solis-Doyle has been approached about taking a job as a cabinet secretary under Presdent Obama. She was Hillary's campaign manager and has served in other capacities under both Clintons. This is Doyle:

California

I think California is one of the most beautiful states in this country. But read the three following posts to see the terrifying visages, um I mean... lovely faces of three prominent political hacks, er I mean...distinguished members of California's congressional delegation. Next time I consider a vacation I think I'll go to Florida.

Nancy Pelosi wants to bring back Fairness Doctrine

Nancy Pelosi (D) California, the speaker of the House of Representatives is planning on passing a bill which will bring back the Fairness Doctrine. The Fairness Doctrine will do away with Conservative talk radio. Although President-elect has said he won't pass this bill, I wouldn't count on it. After all Obama is the one who said he would use public financing then broke his promise when he saw how much private money he could raise.

Barbara Boxer attacks Sarah Palin

Barbara Boxer (D) California, attacked Sarah Palin as dangerous and inexperienced.

Pray tell us Senator Boxer what you have done that gives you the authority to criticize? Maybe it was all your years as a Marin County Supervisor. Marin County, hmmm. The home of the famed hot tub parties, and wife-swapping back in the late 80's to early 90's.

Dianne Feinstein in charge of Inaugaration

Dianne Feinstein (D) California is in charge of the inaugaration and she is going to try and pass legislation to make scalping tickets a federal crime. Some tickets are going for $40,000 on EBAY.

Here's a picture of the illustrious Senator from California.

The White House

The White House is one of the most imposing and beautiful government buildings in this country. Here are some comparison pictures from its history.

Obamas visit The White House

Today the President-elect Barack Obama and his wife Michelle visited the White House by invitation of President George W. Bush. This is one of the few "rituals" of government that we have in this country and I'm proud to share the photos of the event.

Ann Coulter ROCKS!

I am a huge fan of Ann Coulter. She is funny, witty and brutally honest.
