What Conflict of Interest?

Tom Daschle the presumptive Secretary of Health and Human Services, received $220,000 in speaking fees from healthcare groups with an interest in the work he would do once confirmed as secretary of health, Politico.com reports.

This is an outright conflict of interest because one of the groups who paid him stands to benefit by hundreds of millions of dollars, from President Obama's plan for Univeral Health Care.

Scandal after scandal after scandal has already rocked this administration which has been in power for only two weeks. As with Treasury Secretary Timothy "Tax Cheat" Geithner, President Obama issued a statement in support of Daschle saying, "(Daschle) is the right person to lead the fight for health care reform."

Are you tired yet of the corrupt liberal government we the voters have put in place? I am. If this is all happening in the first two weeks, what are the next four or God Help Us, the next eight years going to be like?

Now is the time to take action. Call your senators and tell them that they cannot in good conscience approve the nomination of Daschle. This man needs to learn a lesson that there are consequences for bad behavior. We as citizens have consequences and those chosen to lead us should as well.

A Tax Cheat from Four Different Perspectives, isn't Necessarily a Tax Cheat.

I thought I would do a comparison to illustrate Media Bias. I visited the websites of four different "News" organizations. FOX News, CNN, MSNBC, and The New York Times.

Over at FOX this was the headline:
TAX ISSUE DOGS DASCHLE. The gist of the article was written from the perspective that only after the vetting process started did Daschle file an amended return and pay back taxes with interest. It is interesting to note that this is the TOP Story on FOX News as of 11:31pm MST on 1/30/09

AT CNN the headline read:
HHS PICK DASCHLE FACES TAX SCRUTINY. At CNN the article focused on the Senate Finance Committe and its "review" of a car that may or may not have been used by Daschle. This was a secondary headline also at 11:35 MST on 1/30/09

MSNBC:
TAX ISSUES EMERGE IN DASCHLE NOMINATION. The article didn't even mention an investigation by the Senate Finance Committee, in fact, the article lead with the fact that Tom Daschle had recently paid back taxes in the amount of $128,000 with $11,000 in interest. The timeline implied in this article makes it seem like Daschle paid the taxes before he went under scrutiny. This article was a small secondary headline as of 11:36 pm MST on 1/30/09

The New York Times:
USE OF FREE CAR LANDS TOM DASCHLE IN TAX TROUBLE. at the NYC Times, this article makes the reader believe that some obscure part of the government "alleges" that Tom Daschle owes taxes on the use of the car. It really hammers home the opinion that the use of the free car and NOT the non-payment of taxes is what caused this problem. Once again, this was a third-rate headline on the front page at 11:40 pm 1/30/09.

Four articles about the same thing and three of them make Daschle look like a victim. Two of them leading us to believe that Tom Daschle paid the taxes before the investigation while one article actually tries to convince the reader that Daschle may or may not have even used the car. Only FOX tells us that Daschle paid ONLY AFTER the "mistake" was discovered by the Senate Finance Committee.

If this were a Bush nominee, the stories would have been LEAD headlines but in this case the Liberal Mainstream Media who are slobbering over President Obama, try to spin this story to be sympathetic to a liberal nominee.

I would encourage all of my readers to not take stories at face value where the MAINSTREAM Media is concerned but to dig deeper and find the truth.

Hollywood Bailout?

The Stimulus Package that was recently passed by the House of Representatives includes a portion that provides for a Hollywood Bailout. I'm still searching for the exact amount being pledged.

Bailout? Really? For the land of $20 million star paychecks, Bush bashing, and movies that condescend to middle America? OUTRAGEOUS!

This more than ever should be cause to call your Senator if you haven't already. I don't want to bailout the movie industry that produces filth, and movies that undermine traditional values.

Patriots Pay Their Taxes.

Another one of Obama's cabinet nominees has had to go back and pay the IRS taxes in the amount of $100,000. Tom Daschle, the former Senate majority leader is being considered for the Department of Health and Human Services. He accepted a car and a driver for years from an investment banker friend. Now that he is being vetted for the cabinet post, he has had to go back and pay back taxes on the car and drive that HE NEVER CLAIMED ON HIS TAX RETURN.

Joe Biden said, "...It is patriotic to pay your taxes..." when he was on the campaign trail. So then I guess I'm justified when I say, "These tax cheats in Obama's cabinet are NOT PATRIOTS" The tax code doesn't say that you pay taxes only if being considered for a cabinet post, it requires every American to pay taxes PERIOD. This is making me angry. The biggest controversies under Bush were a couple of nominees who hired illegal aliens but liberals screamed and screamed until those people were booted.

Can you say "Double Standard"?

Marcia, Marcia, Marcia? No, Gregg, Gregg, Gregg.

The Obama administration has tapped Senator Judd Gregg (R) New Hampshire as his pick for Commerce Secretary. You'll remember that Bill Richardson (D) Governor of New Mexico was Obama's original pick but stepped out of the race due to a possible ethics issue. If Gregg accepts the job with the Obama administration, the Republicans will no longer have 41 members in the Senate. The Governor of New Hampshire is a Democrat and will undoubtedly choose a Dem to replace Gregg.

If this happens and the Dems get 60 members, the Republicans will no longer have filibuster and will be unable to stop socialist, liberal legislation from being passed. When this happens, the Democrats along with Obama will have the power to fundamentally change the Constitution and America.

Republicans are trying to negotiate with the Democratic Governor of New Hampshire to get him to nominate a Republican, but I believe they are negotiating a losing battle. This country may be finished sooner than we think.

Vote for Rush Limbaugh???

I wasn't aware that Rush Limbaugh was running for office anywhere in the US, so imagine my surprise when I saw the following ad attacking him:



The dollars spent on this ad are dollars that are not being spent on American and this economy. The effort being put forth by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is effort that is not being put into solving the economic problems we now face. Rush Limbaugh is not running for office.

Imagine what would have happened if Bush had tried to confront each and every one of his detractors, he would have been distracted from doing the business of the country. We now have a President and a liberal congress that are fighting the opposition press instead of working for Americans. THIS IS YET ANOTHER OUTRAGE. I suspect that even some of those who voted for Obama don't want this.

What's next? I believe that the democrats will try to resurrect the fairness doctrine which forces radio broadcasters to give equal time to conservatives and liberals. Liberal radio (Air America anyone?) is a resounding failure, it makes no advertising money. So when broadcasters are forced to include liberal and conservative voices, stations will close due to lack of advertising dollars, because it has been proven that NO ONE LISTENS TO LIBERAL TALK RADIO.

What happened to, "...it's time to put aside childish things..."?

A writer at the Red State Blog, was recently attacked by a member of The Huffington Post, a liberal blog. When the Red State writer registered with the Huffington Post so that he could leave a comment, his comment was not posted. I'll let you read the blog post here.

You can decide for yourself your feelings about this, but let me just say, as I've said before. Liberal who scream tolerance and inclusion are NEVER open to including a conservative viewpoint. I believe the reason is that they cannot justify their far-left positions. I encourage everyone who reads my blog to read the article above to discover what both sides are writing about the issue of nationalizing the banks. If you read it carefully you will undoubtedly come to the same conclusion, that the left-wing bloggers are afraid for an actual debate.

Fight the Good Fight!

Congressional Dems along with the White House and MoveOn.org are bringing the fight to the Republicans. Obama and his liberal cronies in the Congress were surprised at the fact that not a single House Republican voted FOR the Stimulus Bill, and that they were able to secure 11 Democrats as well. Here's an article that talks about how they're going to target Republicans.

The Dems would like us to believe that this stimulus bill is going to create 4 million jobs, but with line items like, $600 million to buy the federal government new cars and more money being spent on reseeding the National Mall than there are tax breaks for citizens and small business, I don't see how. The "tax cut" that Obama keeps harping on is actually a $20 payroll tax cut. He is not cutting the actual tax rate (like George W. Bush did) and the extra $20 per paycheck is only for people that make less than $75,000. This is an outrage.

CALL YOUR SENATORS AND TELL THEM NOT TO SUPPORT THIS BILL. Let's show Obama and the Dems that we will NOT STAND FOR THIS!!! If every Republican and a few moderate and conservative Democrats vote against this bill, it can be defeated.

Thanks For Your Support, Please Call Again.

Well although the $819 billion stimulus bill passed the House today with a vote of 244 to 188, it is interesting to note that ALL Republicans present voted against the bill with 11 Dems joining them in opposition. This is great because everyone who made phone calls (shout out to Peg!) made a huge difference. The Republicans in the House showed that they can stand in opposition to the socialism being shoved down our throats.

Now we just need ALL the Republicans in the Senate to do the same. Let's call and get this legislation defeated.

"...It is time to put away childish things..."

That was a direct quote from President Obama's inaugural address. Now that Rush Limbaugh has come out and said that he hopes Obama's socialist agenda for America fails, Obama and the Dems are creating a petition to silence Rush. This is childish on the part of the liberals who now control our federal government. Rush is entitled to his opinion and lets face it, he is not the only person who doesn't want America to become a socialist country. For an administration that preaches bi-partisanship, through soaring rhetoric, I've never seen more bitter fighting. I find myself weeping more and more for our great country everyday and feeling helpless. I just want to thank the liberal kooks who voted for Obama once again, for destroying this great country.

Exposed!

So do you think partisanship has gone away? I don't. I think there is more partisanship now than ever before and that is more bitter than ever. The time has come for us to stop treating government as though it were politics as usual. All joking and apathy where the Congress and the White House are concerned needs to stop. We need to be calling our Senators and Representatives daily if need be, to tell them when they are not representing our interests and our values.

And Then There Were Ten.

Ten Republicans on Monday voted with Democrats to confirm Geithner, A self-confessed tax cheat, as Treasury Secretary. The 10 Republicans who voted yes were Sens. Bob Corker of Tennessee, John Cornyn of Texas, Mike Crapo of Idaho, John Ensign of Nevada, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, Judd Gregg of New Hampshire, Hatch of Utah, Richard Shelby of Alabama, Olympia Snowe of Maine and George Voinovich of Ohio.

I'll be watching these ten Republicans closely from here on out and if they continue down this road of supporting Obama like this, I'll recommend that they be voted out by their respective constituencies.

What is really interesting is that 3 Democrats voted against Geithner. The Democrats voting no were Sens. Byrd, Russell Feingold of Wisconsin and Harkin of Iowa. Also voting no was Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., who caucuses with Democrats.

Senator Kit Bond (R) of Missouri was absent at the vote, and I have already sent him an email through his web form at www.senate.gov expressing my displeasure at him for being absent on such a critical vote.

We now have a treasury secretary who will be expected to lay down rules and regulations that regular Americans will have to follow, which he couldn't follow himself.

CBS? ABC? NBC? FOX?

NO, none of the above. President Obama gave his first interview as President to the muslim Al-Arabiya network which is based in Dubai. In the interview he discussed his Muslim family members and his Muslim ties. Funny how in 2007 while he was campaigning, his muslim ties were all covered up and hidden from the voters. Now though what does Barack Hussein Obama have to lose by admitting the truth? Not a darn thing!

In the interview, President B. Hussein Obama expressed moderation in dealing with Islamic states and re-iterated his support for Israel, with this caveat, "Israel is a strong ally of the United States. They will not stop being a strong ally of the United States. And I will continue to believe that Israel's security is paramount. But, I also believe that there are Israelis who recognize that it is important to achieve peace. They will be willing to make sacrifices if the time is appropriate and if there is serious partnership on the other side."

I do not believe that Israelis should make any sacrifices. They are defending their country against terrorists. The Islamo-fascists who inflict rocket attacks on innocent Israeli citizens and who hide their war machine amongst hospitals, and schools should be forced to make all of the sacrifices.

Wow, looks like everyone's prediction for an Obama administration are coming true.

Stem Cell Ban has been lifted.

The Obama administration has just lifted the ban on stem cell research and when Geron corporation announced that they would begin experimenting on stem cells their stock went up 60%.

We're funding overseas abortion, and all the innocent babies we kill in this country are now nothing more than medical experiments.

The only thing left is for the White House to give the okay for partial birth abortions.

The USA will be punished for this by THE chief justice himself....Jesus Christ!

What Would A Leader Do?

Someone who has been called upon to lead, whether it is an elementary school teacher or a high school prinicipal, a town clerk, or a city council person, a CEO or a President, should exhibit certain traits. Like a humble spirit, but a confident voice for example. It doesn't take a leader to overturn 8 years of Executive Orders. That is done with the stroke of a pen and after its done, there is still a leadership vacuum.

What will fill that space? A willingness to admit that he/she doesn't know everything. An active listener that wants to hear even opposing viewpoints. And, most importantly of all someone who wants only the good of the entire class, school, city, or country rather than adoration.

What will he do for an encore?

Well the first week of Obama-all-the-time is over and as we move on to week number two of Idolatry by the liberals-who-love-him, lets review:

Obama decided on his very first day that the US can once again fund the killing of innocent babies all the world around. Our tax dollars at work!

Obama told the Republican Leadership that "...he won..." and that "...winning would trump them every time..." How nice to have such a humble guy in the Oval Office.

Obama decided that Muslim terrorists who killed Americans can have lawyers and their day in court, if we're lucky. The rest may just get set free on American soil.

We're in big trouble.

Way to go Joe!

VP Joe Biden this week said to expect more US casualties in Afghanistan as President Obama ratchets up the war machine there while winding it down in Iraq. For a sitting VP to make that statement proves that he has no faith in the US military. Welcome to the Liberal state of US, run by America haters and Military haters.

The Apple doesn't Fall Far from the Tree

It is being reported that Caroline Kennedy's name was removed from the short list to replace Hillary Clinton due to an affair she is having with the owner of the New York Times. Governor Patterson (D) NY received this info from a high level political source, and then Mrs. Kennedy-Schlossberg decided pull her name from consideration. Oh and if you didn't know, Caroline is married to Edwin Schlossberg. Arthur Salzburger is also married although he is separated.

Caroline is following in the footsteps of her illustrious father who was a venereal disease-ridden, drug-addicted, sex addict. For years the secret service and the mainstream media (who gushed over JFK as much as they do over Obama now) had a pact to hide the women, and the drugs from the American public.

Good riddance. The Kennedy family have never been anything but a bunch of thugs that believe they are above the law. Sen. Ted Kennedy is a murderer, his nephew is a rapist, his brother was an unfaithful husband, and now his niece is found to have been the same.

You don't have to watch Dynasty, to have an attitude.

Al Gore, the self-proclaimed "czar of the atmosphere", "creator of the internet", and "lord of all he surveys", was picked up at the capitol after the Inauguration in an SUV. Considering all of his talk about pollution, global warming (SNORT!), and carbon footprints, Gore should have driven away in a greener car or been carried away on one of his servants shoulders (well I don't know if there is a servant that can actually still carry Al Gore). Would it kill these loud-mouth liberals to practice what they preach?

Well it is official. Caroline Kennedy's spokesperson has said that she is no longer in the running to fill the vacancy left by Hillary Clinton. What exactly did her in?

The expectation that she was entitled to the seat. Her lack of a consistent voting record. Her lack of public disclosure, and a questionable work ethic. (Hey but wait a minute, with those exact same 'dis'qualifications, Obama was able to WIN the job as President!)

As Michelle Malkin (conservative commentator) said, Don't let the doorknob hit you on the way out. Goodbye!

While I was very disappointed in Michelle Obama's dress for the inaugural balls, Aretha Franklin managed to redeem the day for fashion. Her jewel-studded hat was elegant and fashion-forward and is being ordered by department stores nationwide due to overwhelming demand. I love this hat!

Who are You Wearing? Who Cares!

Michelle Obama, our new First Lady, while not a classic beauty by any means is still very poised and looks like she really keeps in shape. So it is a mystery, dear readers, why she would represent herself at her husband's greatest night in this monstrosity:


This dress makes her hips look huge and adds at least 20 pounds right in her stomach. And what is up with that thick strap holding everything up on one side? For someone who is supposed to bring glamour back to the White House, I'm very disappointed. Who was the designer? Jason Wu.
This dress looks like someone bought a thermal blanket from Target, washed it until it was fuzzy, then added a few pin pleats and glued on some flowers.

I wish she'd just kept this horrendous outfit in the closet.

Vice-President? We still have one of those?

Joe Biden made a joke on national televison today about Chief Justice John Roberts' fumbling of the presidential oath yesterday. Biden said, ""My memory is not as good as Chief Justice Roberts." at a White House swearing in of staff. He was promptly tapped on the elbow by President Obama as if to say, "could you please shut up?"

I fully expect to see Obama's pinched face very often as Biden and his wife open their mouths to make flub after flub. We had a VP who was confident and whose wife was the epitome of fortitude. Now we have a fumble-mouth fool as second in command, married to Fake Tan Malibu Barbie who looks like she brushed her hair with sandpaper, and applied her makeup with a putty knife after one too many Tequila Shots. Nice huh?

Double Standard.

Families of victims who were killed in the 9/11 terror attacks are outraged at Obama's executive decision to cease and desist with military war crimes tribunals. These tribunals are for the terrorists who are being detained at Guantanamo Bay.

I find it interesting that Obama and the Democrat bleeding heart liberals want to preserve the rights of terrorists but are itching to bring war crimes prosecution to President Bush. What a bunch of good for nothing UN-Patriotic America Haters.

That is liberals for you. Sarah Palin had it right, in her speech at the RNC, when she said about Obama, "Al Qaeda terrorists still plot to inflict catastrophic harm on America and he's worried that someone won't read them their rights? Government is too big ... he wants to grow it."

Day One and the liberalization of America is already beginning.

I have a fervent prayer for the USA today.

Dear Lord, Please do not forsake this great country as the nation's leaders try to turn us away from you. Please surround us, your children in the USA, with your angels to protect us. Give us the strength to profess our faith for you in even the most difficult of circumstances. Place conviction on the congressional leaders and the new President's hearts so that they will not falter in our support for your chosen people in Israel. Please cover President and Mrs. Bush with your hand so that they may be kept from harm. Please be with Pastor Warren so that he may witness to the unsaved masses with his prayer today. Please protect us as we are forced to accept lifestyles that go against your holy law. Give the church the strength to speak up when our rights are threatened and give our church leaders the words to say so that we can never be accused of harrassment or discrimination. On Monday's Oprah, Jill Biden revealed on national television that Joe Biden was offered either the Vice-Presidency or Secretary of State. She was promptly hushed by her husband, while the audience, gasped and laughed.

Apparently, saying stupid things is not limited to the men in the Biden family.

According to FOX News, the Bushes will be heading directly to Midland, TX following the transfer of power. I wish I was going to be in the area. I will be watching this transfer of power with much sadness in my heart.

Focus on the Family

As Oprah's lovefest for Obama continues we are treated to a lecture on the importance of family by Demi and Ashton and Joe and Jill Biden. Oprah acted like there has never been a married couple in the White House or in Washington DC before. The Bushes aren't divorced. Oprah went on to venerate Joe Biden's as she introduced his mother and said, "...wow, your mother will get to watch you sworn in..." What about George W. Bush's mother? She watched her son too.

This country is being handed to the Hollywood elite which is the same as heading down the toilet of the world. I'm sickened beyond belief and all Christians and traditionalists should be as well.

The Pledge

Here is a video brought to us by Demi Moore. It is a variety of celebrities pledging to do stuff like plant trees and to be an American rather than an African-American. What kills me about this crap is that why couldn't they pledge this under Bush? Does Obama awaken their brains all of a sudden? This video was directed by Demi Moore who originally pledged her nude body for a $20 million paycheck in the movie Striptease. Ashton Kutcher helped produce the video. He is also producing that edifying program, True Beauty, where model and actor/actress wannabes are shedding their clothes in hot tubs on network television.

Watch and puke as these Hollywood airheads pledge to stop using plastic and help end hunger. Well it's about time this group of millionaires sacrificed some of their money to do something other than get drunk in clubs around the world and get out of limos wearing no underwear and other such high-minded activities. All of these people are hypocrites but the young uneducated MTV voters will worship these fools.

Oprah Winfrey, the queen of all media is bringing her show to us from Washington DC this week. I've just begun to view Monday's pre-inauguration show and I'm already puking from the syrupy sweet crap the liberal nutjobs on her show are spewing. We are hearing from such intelligentsia such as, Demi Moore, and Ashton Kutcher. Wow! They've already bestowed on us such pearls as, "...we have a president who is putting the world's needs ahead of the US needs." WHAT??? This is ridiculous pap.

Next we got to hear from that political luminary, Justin Timberlake about how America can be a celebrity in the world again. UH, note to Justin, this country was not created to be a celebrity in the world, but a beacon of freedom and an example of democracy.

There is something seriously wrong with a world where Demi, Justin and Ashton are the voices of reason.

Obama to Scrap Abstinence-Only Sex Education Program?

Yes, if liberal critics of the program get their way. With it's biggest supporter, President George Bush leaving office, this program doesn't stand a chance. Among it's critics is Planned Parenthood, or as I like to call it, Abortion-on-Demand.

In the place of the program, liberals want to have classes in ALL public schools for teen boys on how to use Condoms, and to teach young impressionable girls where to find the morning-after-pill. Abortion advocates consider the abstinence program harmful and "unrealistic"

Georgia is one of a few states that are looking at ways to use state funds to keep the program alive.

We're heading face first into the avalanche of "anything goes" and complete lawlessness.

USA Today Rejects Christ, Surprise Meter Registers Zero.

USA Today recently had a promotion where they were allowing people to send personalized messages in the USA Today paper for a cost of $15. Nathan Tabor, a conservative columnist for www.townhall.com, and an evangelical Christian, sent in his with a Christian message and ...well I'll let you read his story. Tom Hanks blasts...The Mormons?

Tom Hanks today blasted the LDS Church for supporting Proposition 8, which bans gay marriage in California, calling them Un-American. Tom Hanks is another liberal fool with a strong case of verbal diarrhea!

Mormons like all other traditional conservatives believe in marriage as ordained by GOD! Marriage is between a man and a woman PERIOD. I'd like to take this opportunity to tell Tom Hanks to kindly shut his mouth. All Conservatives, Christians, and Traditionalists should be offended by his words.

Greenest. Inauguration. Ever.

The Obama Inauguration committe would like you to believe that this is the greenest inauguration ever held on the entire planet in the history of the world. Hollywood phonies are falling all over themselves to declare this inauguration so environmentally conscious. I call BS! I think if Hollywood really wanted to be green they should stay home. All the carbon emissions from their private jets and gas guzzling SUVS are creating 57,000 times the pollution of one average home in the US.

Nancy Pelosi, Crime Fighter.

Nancy Pelosi today on FOX News Sunday promised that she would prosecute the Bush Administration for war crimes and lying to the American public. Rep. John Conyers from Ohio also promised the same thing. Obama said he hasn't ruled out prosecution because nobody is above the law. Well how about prosecuting Obama's pick for Treasury Secretary. This man is a tax cheat to the tune of $34,000. If this were an incoming Republican administration, there would be no end to the squawking by liberal fools...er I mean Democrats.

Conservatives and reasonable people should not and I believe, will not stand for this. Bush didn't do anything wrong. He had the agreement of Congress to go into Iraq. This is an outrage.

New Administration=Magic Powers

I went to CVS pharmacy yesterday so that the pharmacy tech could input my new prescription insurance info and while she was doing that, she started talking to me. She saw on my insurance card that I worked for Intel and asked if we were hiring. I told her no, that in fact, we might soon be laying off in other states where Intel has a presence. She said, "No worries, once Obama starts his first full work day on Wednesday, every company will be doing massive hiring later that afternoon"

I must have looked at her with such a look of incredulity on my face because she just stopped talking and went back into the workroom to fill my prescription.

This is amazing that some people worship Obama so much that they think he is capable of working miracles.

We've lost all the tools in our toolbox.

As of Wednesday morning, the US will have lost some of the most useful and controversial tools in it's toolbox. We will not longer have the means to gain information from some of the most dangerous people in the world. Any form of "harsh" interrogation will be out! Guantanamo will be closed (probably within three months). Terrorists will no longer have to worry about their phones being tapped. This country which has been safe from terror since 9/11 will once again be vulnerable.

However, anyone who says things that the new liberals in charge of our government don't like will probably be subject to officials rifling through their personal and private information.

This is moving the US two steps back. God help us.

Biggest. Security Force. Ever.

In order to provide security for the inauguration on Tuesday, the Secret Service is commanding a force which numbers 41,000 strong. That is 10,000 stronger than the 31,000 forces serving in Afghanistan. According to a DC police force spokesperson, the police force is used to large crowds and has everything under control.

In a completely unrelated story, (at least I hope so) in the last few weeks of Bush's term he sent out almost 20,000 troops into states such as Arizona, California and Texas. This amount of troops, in operation within US borders, is unprecedented in US history.

I'm not going to comment on what I really think about this troop buildup. You decide.

Movie Recommendation

I am a huge fan of Tyler Perry. His "Madea" movies are some of the funniest, most original movies out today. His most recent movie, "The Family that Preys" has just been released on DVD and on itunes which is where I bought it.

This is the movie of two lifelong friends, one rich and one poor. It is the story of two families that have problems. It is the story of family members who have fights and disagreements. In short, it is a story about real-life families.

I have to say that Tyler Perry's movies get better and better. During the movie I kept hoping that Madea would show her face but once the movie was over, I was glad she didn't.

I highly recommend you seeing this movie.

Cass Sunstein, A Man of the Animals?

Cass Sunstein has been tapped by President-Elect Obama to head the White House's Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs. Cass has the ear of the head of PETA, the crazed animal rights people. I got the following article in my email from www.townhall.com and instead of writing about it, I just copied it for your information. We're headed down a very strange track with the new administration, here's how weird:

The anti-meat nuts at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and the anti-hunting lobbyists at the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) used to think that putting Dennis Kucinich in the White House would be their best hope of wielding real power in Washington . But even they didn't see Cass Sunstein coming. Sunstein has the legal mind of Chief Justice John Roberts and the animal-rights agenda of PETA president Ingrid Newkirk.

We're not talking about animal welfare---the idea of making sure we don't cause animals unnecessary suffering when we use them for food, clothing, entertainment, or lifesaving medical research. Sunstein believes in animal rights---the notion that people shouldn't "own" or "use" animals at all, for any purpose, no matter what the stakes are for mankind.

Cancer research? Not if lab rats are used against their will.

Hunting? Absolutely forbidden, especially if it's for sport.

Leather jackets? The cows need their skin more that you do.

Seeing-eye dogs? They're nothing more than slaves.

And that T-bone steak? Fuhgeddaboudit! If animals have any "rights" at all, the right to not be your dinner is at the top of the list.

All of this makes perfect sense to Cass Sunstein, who organized the "Chicago Project on Animal Treatment Principles" at the University of Chicago. He will soon have the political authority to push for a radical overhaul of the way the federal government regulates everything Americans do with animals.

How radical? Sunstein supports making sport hunting illegal, and completely phasing out the consumption of meat. And if that's not nutty enough, he's actually in favor of giving animals the legal right to sue people.

Think we're joking? Think again. Here's what Sunstein wrote in his 2004 book, Animal Rights: Current Debates and New Directions:

"[A]nimals should be permitted to bring suit, with human beings as their representatives ... Any animals that are entitled to bring suit would be represented by (human) counsel, who would owe guardian like obligations and make decisions, subject to those obligations, on their clients' behalf."

Conservative commentators have been openly fretting that Barack Obama may try to turn welfare entitlements and single-payer healthcare into a new Bill of Rights. But Cass Sunstein threatens to expand the whole concept of "rights" to include the rest of the animal kingdom.

That fish wriggling at the end of your hook could soon be a federal offense (if the fish doesn't file a lawsuit first). Don't say we didn't warn you.

Israel Enters Gaza City.

Israel has entered Gaza City on foot, by air and by sea. Gaza City, population 400,000 is being pounded by Israel's "Iron Fist". Israel vows to continue the full scale assault until Hamas agrees to Israel's demands, which include the cessation of rockets being fired on Israeli towns.

One of the residents, Khader Mussa, 35, told The Associated Press by telephone that he saw two apartment buildings on fire. He said he was huddling in the basement of his building with 25 other people, including his pregnant wife and his parents. "The gates of hell have opened," he said. "God help us."

Hey Mr. Mussa, I have news for you, God isn't going to help you, because you have taken sides against his chosen people, the Jews.

God Created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.

I receive a regular email from the Baptist Convention of New Mexico. The email is usually in reference to some kind of liberal bill being up for introduction in the New Mexico state senate. Sometimes it is an update on mission work being performed in NM. This time the email was in reference to a reply to an individual's email to a senator. This senator expressed outrage and arrogance that a NM citizen would try to limit someone's rights where gay marriage is concerned. Along with the email, I received an article about how Gay Marriage has changed Massachusetts, one of the states that has legalized gay marriage.

Here's the link to the article, it is a pretty long article but it is worth the read. It is a warning to other states considering passing similar laws. Read and educate yourselves so you are equipped to protect your children from the most heinous sinful group in existence today, gay activists.

Farewell, Dear Friend.

President George W. Bush will deliver the traditional Presidential farewell address this Thursday evening. I do not know if this address will be televised on any of the major networks but FOX News Channel, the only fair and balanced news channel, will indeed air it live at 8pm Eastern time. President Bush will deliver the address as has been done in years past in front of an audience from the East Room in the White House.

I write this post with much sadness in my heart and with tears flowing from my eyes. I am very sad to see Bush go but I know that in time, George Bush will be looked back upon in fondness and his presidency will be validated by those who constantly criticized him. I look forward to the day when George W. Bush and I can meet in Heaven and I can thank him for being an excellent leader, to his face. At that time the liberals who always bashed him and refused Jesus as our Savior, will be doing one of two things, either living in filth on earth or burning in Hell where they belong.

Terrorists Go Forth and Multiply....

President-Elect Obama has promised to issue an executive order as soon as he is sworn in on January 20th which will close Guantanamo Prison. This will have the effect of sending some of the terrorists housed there home to their native countries. But, in some cases, the native countries don't want these terrorists back home. Where do you think these morons will end up? Probably in the US as illegal aliens due to our weak immigration policies and amnesty for everyone.

In some cases, the terrorists will be moved to a federal prison on US Soil and be afforded the rights to federal trials in this country. Hey Obama, Pelosi and Reid! The US Constitution only applies to US citizens. These constitutional rights should not be applied to animals who launch attacks on innocent US citizens.

Madoff Makes Off.

Madoff, the man who stole 50 billion dollars from various individual, and corporate investors, today was told by a judge that he could continue to live at his luxurious Park Avenue penthouse until his trial. This is an outrage! In the days before this ruling, Madoff and his wife had shipped MILLIONS of dollars worth of jewelry to friends overseas. This reminds me when Czars and overthrown rulers would leave their countries under cover of night and in disguise with the crown jewels sewn into the linings of their fur coats. What goes through a judges mind, knowing about the jewels, to still let this criminial live at home amid luxurious splendor?

This kind of ruling sends a message to those who break the law. That message says that you can steal people's money and you will suffer no punishment. If it had been up to me, I would have sentenced Madoff to a state prison, then do everything I could to instigate a riot at that prison, and ensure that Madoff was caught in the middle of the riot. Now that would teach him and future thieves a lesson!

A Win
Hey the ads won't be all over television anymore for a while. Sadness and joy fill this day for most Americans. 62 million or so are happy; 55 million or so are sad. Some in the world rejoice, others are concerned about the possibility in a radical change of foreign policy.

I have read blogs today from friends about not over-reacting if it did not go the way most people of faith had hoped. I have had conversations with people who are certain this is the beginning of the end.

I know this...I spent time on Tuesday night watching Rocky II...the inspiring story of an underdog. If you have seen the movie as many times as I have, you remember that Rocky doesn't seem to want to fight the rematch because he doesn't have the support of his wife. Its only when she comes out of her coma and utters that word "win" that his heart gets into the fight.

I wonder how many times we want someone else to fight for us...a pastor, a teacher, a lawyer, a parent, a politician. We don't seem personally interested in a fight, and I don't mean a political fight unless you know you are called to such a task. I mean the fight spoken of in Ephesians 6...the fight against the unseen.

Jesus has drawn us close to himself and whispered to us, "WIN!" I am inspired to do just that. Winning begins with one person reaching one person. No president can help that or hinder that. No law can stand against the Spirit of God at work in a person' life. So no matter how you feel, remember to do one thing...win.

Bury Your Head in the Sand.

Anne Hathaway, Hollywood star and all around celebutante said that althought she supports President Obama and will be at his inauguaration, that she doesn't support Pastor Rick Warren who will be giving the invocation at the star-studded affair. Originally her and father were going to turn their backs toward the podium while Warren speaks but both decided that would be disrespectful. Now they are going to wear some sort of ribbon which protests his appearance. Hathaway says it is in deference to her gay brother and her belief in liberal causes.

To me, wearing a ribbon to protest an ambassador of God's Kingdom on earth is like protesting Jesus Christ himself. Anyway, she can wear that ribbon with pride and when Jesus does return, she can stay on earth with that ribbon surrounded by liberals and their filthy lifestyles while I party it up at the greatest celebration ever...Praising God in Heaven!

Anti-Semitism on the Rise

Israel is a civilized peaceful country that is entitled to defend her cities and towns. The Palestinians by contrast dance in the street while innocent American and Jewish citizens are subjected to planes used as bombs and rockets used as missiles. Palestinians in the west bank and in Gaza are animals and deserve to be carpet bombed out of existence.

European Jews are now being subjected to acts of vandalism and terror. Synagogues in France have been fire bombed by cars, and bottle bombs. Burning rags are stuffed into mail slots in Jewish homes. Hmmmm, it seems Muslims or followers of the "religion of peace" Islam are the cause of all this violence.

Is the Media Really Fair?

Time magazine this week in their editorial page, claims to be fair in reporting the Israel/Palestinian conflict. To show their fairness, they say they sued Ariel Sharon for libel and won and they gave Yassir Arafat the person of the year award. Yes that does prove that they do something to both sides but suing the Jew and awarding the terrorist is WRONG and very unfair.

The Greater Good

Obama tells ABC news about a "Grand Bargain" he has planned for us in America. He says, "Everyone will be asked to sacrifice for the greater good" This is Socialism. He will take from the rich and give to those who pay nothing in taxes, do nothing for this country except subsist on government programs. This is the liberal legacy. America cannot survive as a socialist country. It is NOT FAIR for some to work hard to provide for their families and have to sacrifice for those who don't!

If Obama expects the rich to give to the poor, then he better demand that all the Hollywood lunatics who pull in $20 million dollar paychecks to give their fair share. It is important to remember that Obama and the liberal congress think of "rich" as those who make $125,000 per year. That is not rich if you have a family to support.

We should rise up and call all the rich liberals who it has been proven give next to nothing to charity, to give it up! It has been proven time and time again that it is only rich and middle class conservatives that give to charity.

Once again, I have to thank our liberal fellow citizens for bringing this mess down upon us. You liberals who voted liberal this time around are TO BLAME for bringing down the greatest country on Earth. You may have finally gotten what you have yearned for for years. THANKS FOR NOTHING. Those people who did this will answer to GOD for this desecration.

Harry. Give Me Back My Land!

Harry Reid is urging Democrats to the Senate chamber today for an unusual Sunday vote. He has formulated a bill that makes almost 3 million acres of energy rich land into "federal wilderness". This will prohibit from anyone even riding a bicycle across the land, much less drill for oil or mine for minerals.

This is sneaky and is what Reid, Pelosi and people of their ilk do best. They can't ever be up front and be honest so they skulk around and lie, cheat and pass underhanded secret bills.

Global Warming Creates ...The Icebox Effect??

Despite dire warnings from global warming alarmists, Daily Tech Online reports global sea ice levels are now equivalent to those seen 29 years ago. Satellite data from the University of Illinois' Arctic Climate Research Center indicates the rate of global sea-ice increase in the last four months of the year was the fastest rate of change on record.
Meanwhile, former nuclear scientist and energy expert Michael Fox writes in the Hawaii Reporter that 2008 was "another grim year for the global warmers."

"2008 marked the tenth consecutive year of no global warming... the earth has been cooling for the last six years."

I do NOT believe that there is such a thing as global warming. I have always believed it is a liberal hoax just like the one where the liberals try to convince us that they "support the troops" HA! Hollywood lunatics and liberal nutjobs screaming about our "carbon footprints" have some of the largest footprints in the world. Al Gore's carbon footprint is 20 times larger than the normal citizen, due to his large mansion, fleet of cars and large entourage of servants and personal assistants. All that and the guy claims to be an environmentalist.

Obama's plan to save the US economy is being villified by economists. To push the US into trillion dollar deficits by implementing a economic stimulus that will cost 1.2 trillion is economic suicide.
This stimulus comes from a man who has never managed more than a household budget in his life. What were the young and stupid liberal voters thinking, voting for a man who has NO experience?
The new administration is going to sell out the US' security to terrorist groups and sell out our economy to foreign countries.

Pardon Me?

Vice President Cheney is coming under fire now almost two years after the Valerie Plame controversy. You all remember Valerie Plame don't you? She is the CIA agent who was allegedly outed by Scooter Libby. I'm sorry but it has been shown time and time again that Plame was not a secret agent. I'm willing to go out on a limb here and say that probably the only time Valerie Plame's identity was considered private was when she was someone's Secret Santa at the CIA Christmas Party.
Liberal bloggers are laying bets that Bush will pardon himself and Cheney to prevent from being prosecuted for the CIA operative Valerie Plame.
I think Bush will pre-pardon most of his White House staff to prevent anyone from his administration from being prosecuted by crazed liberal politicians whose only basis for such prosecution is their extreme hatred of Bush and conservatives in general.

We are headed for a mess on January 20th.

Let's Baby the Terrorists

President-Elect Obama has announced his plan to nominate Leon Panetta as the head of the CIA. This gives credence to the fear that he is planning on dismantling the US intelligence community throughout the world. Obama is more concerned with the rights of those who want to attack and have attacked our country, than he is with the safety of Americans.
Panetta is a career politician who leans left and believes that torture is wrong. President Bush has prevented another terror attack on the US by fighting the war on terror with harsh techniques. By contrast Obama and his liberal pacifist cronies want to tuck the terrorists in bed with goose down comforters and feed them steak at every meal.
I think if we are attacked again because we feel we have to sit down and negotiate with Muslim fanatics who think driving planes into tall buildings is fair fighting, there will be a huge backlash against the new administration. Additionally more innocent Americans will die! This is craziness. God help us.

The granola peacenik liberal loons who voted this new administration into office should be ostracized from society and punished for the travesty of justice they have wrought on America.

Joe Biden goes out into the world for....something???

Joe Biden our Vice-President Elect is making a trip to Afghanistan and Iraq. I wonder why? Probably to envelop the masses of people, who are scratching their heads trying to figure out exactly who he his, with his own brand of mush-mouth diplomacy. Late last year, Biden referred to Dick Cheney as "...our most dangerous Vice-President ever." Well starting January 20th we'll have this country's most linguistically challenged, gaffe-prone, and perennial presidential campaign loser in the VP's office. Wow, I can't hardly wait.
So here's a quick rundown of what's to come. Joe Biden will be second-in-command to a President who has never accomplished ANYTHING in his years of political service but was swept into office by a majority of people who think MTV News is the voice of reason in the world.

Next Sunday morning on FOX News Sunday, the featured interview will be none other than President George W. Bush!!!! I don't know about you but I'm awaiting this interview very eagerly. I think very highly about President Bush 43 and admire how he sticks to his convictions, where most politicians, (this means you, you godless liberal heathen DEMOCRATIC HACKS!), don't even have convictions to stick to.

FOX News Sunday airs on the FOX Broadcast network in most cities in the morning and on the FOX News Channel in the afternoon. Check your local listing and don't miss this one. Watching an interview with the sitting president a week before he relinquishes power should be mandatory for every citizen.

Camelot? More like SHAMalot!

Caroline Kennedy is still refusing to submit financial disclosure in her bid to be appointed the Junior New York Senator. This is actually the least of the troubling things there are about her. She hasn't voted in more than a few contested elections over the past few years. This is abominable from someone whose hails from a wild out of control clannish and very secretive family full of political hacks...er I mean, from a distinguished political dynasty BLECH!

In one recent piece about her in a British newspaper, the reporter recorded her saying "You know" at least 142 times during an interview. And to think that the Mainstream Media harps at Sarah Palin??? I guess I should give Miss Kennedy-Schlossberg a break, because there is one thing that she has established very well...that she didn't inherit the Kennedy charisma.

Israel Launches Ground War in Gaza.

Israel launched a ground war in Gaza yesterday morning. The Gaza strip is a highly populated stretch of land with about 1.5 million residents. Hamas is a terrorist organization that bullies their own civilians and hides their weapons in houses and schools.

President Bush is upholding the US support of Israel in the face of almost unanimous objections by the entire world. I wonder if President Obama will be able to withstand the world pressure? If he cannot, look for Jesus in the sky soon as he comes to take us home to be with him. If the US bows to international pressure, I believe the US will cease to exist as a military superpower.
