Wells Fargo goes on Vegas Vacation

After taking $25 Billion in TARP money from the American taxpayer, Wells Fargo Bank's top executives are taking a series of "recognition" trips to Vegas. The execs are staying at the Wynn hotel. The lowest price I could find for a room at the Wynn is about $700 per night and you just know that Wells Fargo travel isn't using HOTELS.com to book these rooms.

Most other big banks have canceled all such trips but Wells Fargo will not. A former Wells Fargo employee says this about past trips, "I was amazed with just how lavish it was," said Debra Rickard, from Colorado who attended the events regularly until she left the company in 2004. "We stayed in top hotels, the entertainment was just unbelievable, and there were awards -- you got plaques or trophies."

If we sit idly by and just let these companies do this, we are the suckers. Pull your business out of Wells Fargo. Can we take lavish vacations when we're being laid off? NO! Don't stand for this.
