Boy, talk about a staged event. In his neverending quest to dupe, er I mean convince voters that his stimulus package is the answer to all the world's evils, Obama had a huge major press conference last night. Despite his best efforts to make the press conference seem "off the cuff", and "unrehearsed", it came off looking like a well-greased wheel.

Interesting how you're interpreting his press conference, esp. since he said very clearly that "the plan's not perfect" and that he will not promise the entire plan will work. He has consistently acknowledged the difficulties that lie ahead, he has brought into his administration opposing political parties and he has gone on national TV and took the blame for the mess of Tom Daschle.
ReplyDeleteHow exactly does the above constitute being disingenuous & untruthful? What is wrong with being polished and planned? Would you rather the president of the US appear on camera with no clear agenda or idea of how to lead the country? Seriously Michael, if you're going to criticize someone at least back it up with some facts instead of merely stoking the flames of dissent in an already terribly divided country.
