Everything Goin' on But the Rent.

What is it with Democrats and taxes? Now it seems that Rahm Emanuel, White House Chief of Staff, did not declare living rent-free for five years while he was in Congress. He bunked at the home of Congresswoman DeLauro rent-free and never declared it on his income taxes.

DeLauro is also married to a pollster who is the head of a polling company that has the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee as one its clients.

Emanuel is claiming that House colleagues can offer hospitality between each other. Once again, if this were someone serving in the Bush administration or a Republican administration, they would be heavily punished and probably even sent to prison. I'm sick and tired of the double standard. Liberals get away with everything, while everyone else has consequences. Liberals should be punished just like the rest of the law-abiding citizens of this country.
