Liberals are such hypocrites. I posted an item about Obama calling reporters in a certain order yet trying to look random at his recent press conference ,and how every answer was rehearsed ahead of time, and how he still won't give specific examples of how reseeding the National Mall is supposed to create jobs, or how pledging $50 million to put art in the schools stimulates the economy, and I'm accused of spreading dissent not based on fact. Well what about all the liberals who screamed when Bush was elected that he stole the election. Or how about when liberals vowed to leave the country when Bush became President. Or what about when liberal Hollywood wackjobs got on tv and said, "Bush isn't my President". I've yet to hear a prominent conservative stand up and say any of those things about Obama. Example after example was given how ACORN falsified voter information, but I'm creating dissent and spreading divisiveness? NO! I'm tired of the double standard.
The Women's Media Center recently said that Bill O'Reilly was making fun of Helen Thomas by calling her a witch. NO, if you watch the tapes, he said her voice sounded like the "Wicked Witch of the East". Amazing how no liberal women stepped forward in Sarah Palin's defense when week after week, Tina Fey MOCKED her voice and her mannerisms. HYPOCRITES! Where was all the outrage from NAACP or Jesse Jackson when people threw OREO cookies at Michael Steele for being a black conservative?
Now in the most recent issue of TV Guide we have lesbian star, Cherry Jones who plays the President in the most recent season of 24 saying that she doesn't want the majority of voters in California deciding that gay marriage is illegal for the minority. WHAT???? That is the whole premise of voting. You go to the polls and the majority votes wins.
These liberals MAKE ME SICK. If I call out Obama for not giving specifics and using fear to build support for his stimulus, I'm within my rights whether I do so in public or on my blog. That is called freedom of the press! Liberals are destroying this country from the inside out, but I'm considered evil and divisive for speaking my opinion. I CALL BS!

Incidentally, what exactly is the difference between describing someone's voice, which is a part of that individual, as sounding like the "Wicked Witch of the East" and calling them a witch? If someone said "my voice sounded like..." I would interpret that as a description of me because my voice is a piece of me.
Either way, such derogatory comments are completely immature and unwarranted no matter what gender was involved.
As for Tina Fey, that's called satire and I laughed (and still laugh) just as hard at the comedian who impersonates Obama. If we can't laugh at ourselves and others in good faith than sh** why don't we all just curl up and whither away.

May I respond to this liberal socialist. Where is the proof she asks? Our country was built on DEMOCRATIC principles not socialist ones. Why don't we begin by looking for proof that any country that has tried socialism has prospered? There isn't any. Why don't we continue by talking about policies that are being put into affect by Obama that will harm the productive members of society and benefit the non-productive ones.

How about the fact that YOUR government wants to manipulate the census for redistricting purposes---all this to insure votes for their party to maintain power indefinitely.
I can go on and on if you like. People like you want to rewrite the Constitution to give government more power. That was the fear of our founders. They knew that to limit government was the way to insure individual freedom.
Our way of life is about to be turned on its head...yes, the sky is falling. American servicemen and women have died and continue to fight every day to insure our way of life where hard work and ingenuity, yes, capitalism, can provide a good standard of life. Self determination, individualism, personal accountability are a few of the traits that have made our country the strongest in the world--not spreading the wealth around to those who will always want what the other guy has but is never willing to strive for it. Yes, we are afraid! We are afraid of the path we are on where Americans become needy children looking to the government for all the answers instead of looking inward.
And back to one of your original complaints about the remark about Helen Thomas...grow up! Why not read some of the things that Ms. Thomas has written about people. It's always fine to make snide comments about conservatives but liberals are out of bounds. I've found that you liberals have no sense of humor!!! Immature...yes, I think it's immature to believe that when the left spews hatred it's acceptable.
One thing I can guarantee you. WE ARE NOT GOING AWAY! More than half of this country still values freedom, the Constitution, free speech to name a few and we will continue to fight, yes, fight, to keep people like Obama from destroying them.

I'm truly sorry for you. That you live in fear and anger so much. Even when Bush was in office I didn't live in fear. I refuse to allow anyone to have that kind of control over me. Fear will get us no where.
Oh and there is nothing wrong with being needy. Everyone is needy from time-to-time and there is nothing wrong with asking for help.
