Arlen Specter Selling Out Because He's Too Big to Fail!

Today, former GOP turncoat Arlen Specter made it official and switched his party from Republican to full-fledged Democrat. Want to know why he switched? Because in his home state of PA, he is being beaten by a real Republican and was probably not going to be on the ballot in 2010 without drastic measures being taken. Specter's defection is important because if Al Franken is seated as the junior Senator from Minnesota, the Democrats will have the 60 votes they need in the Senate and the freedom to pass whatever laws they want!

At this point, the only thing that is going to prevent this is praying. A supermajority of radical liberals is imminent which I believe will lead to full-fledged persecution of Christians, anti-church legislation, etc.

Flashback Monday. What a HOOT! (non-political)

Okay, I hope Yolanda and Laurie don't get too mad at me for doing flashbacks on Monday, but I couldn't resist this posting! (and I couldn't wait until Friday) These two videos, together about 12 minutes total was on TV in 1985 and featured thousands of stars from TV, movies, music, etc. I remember recording this on a VCR back in Belen, NM and watching it til the VHS tape broke! HA HA HA HA! I also remember snapping pictures with my little camera of some of my favorite stars right on the TV screen. (this was obviously before affordable video cameras and before I learned some couth) LOL! Yolanda will probably die of embarrassment (if she isn't dying from laughter first) from me dredging this back up but she may have actually blocked it from her memory. Have I Told You Lately That I LOVE Liz Cheney?

You've got to watch this "interview" with Liz Cheney (daughter of Dick Cheney) on MSNBC or as I like to call it, The Obama Network. It is about 8 minutes but if you are someone who has their head screwed on straight and believes that the terrorists are the problem and that they deserve to have water dumped over their head for 30 seconds because they kill innocent Americans, it is not nearly long enough. Liz Cheney SCHOOLS Nora O'Donnell and doesn't even break a sweat doing it. Nora O'Donnell actually reads a headline that supports her liberal spineless view that Dick Cheney didn't own up to approving torture. Reading a Headline? Really? From the liberal mainstream media? Nora O'Donnell needs to remember one thing which Liz Cheney makes very clear to her:

Is Your College Student Taking Federal Student Loans? Then No Church For You!

I told you it was coming. The Obama administration promises to sign the bill now known as HR1388 into law when it gets to his desk. It says in a nutshell that if a college student is taking federal student loans to pay for college that they will not be allowed to be... "“engaging in religious instruction, conducting worship services, providing instruction as part of a program that includes mandatory religious instruction or worship, constructing or operating facilities devoted to religious instruction or worship, maintaining facilities primarily or inherently devoted to religious instruction or worship, or engaging in any form of religious proselytization.” This means no church attendance or witnessing of any kind.

Question: Michael, knowing that you are an avid reader, I'd like to know what you have to say about the book that the murderous dictator Hugo Chavez of Venezuela gave to President Obama? And, what do you think Obama will do with the book?

Answer: I think the book, "Veins of Latin America" detailing the "alleged" oppression of Latin America by the USA is an awful book choice because it is full of lies that further victimize the innocent citizens of these countries. As far as what Obama will do with the book, I think he may just toss it on a shelf somewhere in the White House, because I suspect that he and Michelle have already read it back when they were members of the Bill Ayres' America-Haters book club. Misuse of a Government Website

The Obama is using the Department of Health and Human Services Website to promote Universal Health Care. I thought these government websites are supposed to provide a service to the citizens of this country, and not push political causes.

Well what do you expect from an administration who is using the full force of the White House to press the issue that Republicans and and Conservatives are "right-wing" extremists?

A President who promised change in the way DC is run is playing politics as usual, no not as usual. I can't think of an adminstration who's every action has been purely politically motivated. Can you imagine the amount of blood shooting out of liberals eyes if Bush had used this website this way?

In my last post I talked about Obama's defense of reaching out to sworn enemies of the US. Well this post will take a much happier tenor. It is about my favorite President of the US and the third greatest US President ever, the Honorable George W. Bush. He was invited to a forum in China to discuss the financial crisis and terrorism. He joked around about walking his dog and carrying a plastic bag to scoop up after the dog.

Apparently We'll Reach Out to Terrorists, But Reaching Out to Republicans is Out of the Question.

This week Obama has shaken hands with evil tyrant Hugo Chavez and even accepted a book entitled, "Open Veins of Latin America: Five Centuries of the Pillage of a Continent" about how the white man has oppressed Latin America. Obama has also lifted the travel ban on Cuba so now we are free to travel and send money to that communist hotbed. Read about how Obama defends his actions here.

But what about Obama's fellow countrymen that are conservative, veterans, and Republicans? Well we've all been labeled right-wing extremist and have replaced Al-Qaeda terrorist as the greatest threat to America. The liberal loons on the left have forgotten how they terrorized Bush with personal attacks and how they defended dissent as patriotic during the Bush years.

Beware those who speak with forked tongue.

In 2010, expect Republicans to sweep the mid-term elections on a wave of grass-root support. What will Obama and liberals do then when they have congressional opposition? I bet they will once again say "dissent is patriotic"

Question: Michael I know you are an American who believes that we should not negotiate with terrorists. How then do you feel about President Obama negotiating with Somali pirates holed up in a rubber dinghy not 100 feet from one of the most powerful warships in the US Navy's fleet?

Answer: You are correct, I don't believe that we should negotiate with terrorists. However, I guess if we are going to negotiate, then we should do so from a position of strength and a position of knowing as much as we can about our enemies. These pirates seem a lot like the 40% of Americans that won't get off their lazy butts and get a real job for the first time in their lives, so I think Obama might be successful if he were to offer the pirates a stimulus package. Answer: Yes, I do think they are consistent. All I ever hear them say are the same three phrases over and over and over again. "Blame Bush", "we inherited this mess" and "...over the last eight years." Thanks for your question.

What a Tough Room.

Markos Moulitsas, founder and editor-in-chief of the liberal hate blog, The DailyKos, had this to say about the shooting of three Pittsburgh Police Officers:

"With no Veep to shoot people, folks are taking things in to their own hands."

"When we (liberals) were out of power, we organized to win the next election. Conservatives, apparently, prefer to talk “revolution” and kill cops."

Making the shooting of three police officers who were ambushed as they responded to a call on domestic violence, into a one-liner and calling conservatives, "cop killers" is despicable. But that is what liberals do, they don't argue the policies, they make everything into a personal attack.

This week we were introduced to the new US Ambassador to the UN, Susan Rice. She was on "This Week with George Stephanopoulous" avoiding the questions, talking in circles, and speaking in generalities. If she said "nuclearization of the Korean peninsula" once, she said it 10 times! She spoke of sanctions and violations of UN Resolutions but offered no stiff penalties for North Korea and it's firing of a long range missile on Saturday. This is going to be the legacy of the Obama administration. Mealy-mouthed diplomacy, trying to avoid hurting Al-Qaeda's feelings, and so on and so on and so on.

New Poll

Please take some time to answer my poll question for this week. Patriotism is frowned upon by liberals who believe that the flag of our great country signals a military, financial and governmental superpower that acts only to oppress the poor and minorities.

I do not believe this. When I see the flag waving in the breeze, I feel a powerful stirring in my heart that makes me want to celebrate this great country that was created by God to be a light in the world.

The Obamessiah and his wife met the Queen of England today at Buckingham Palace where the Obamatrons presented her majesty with an.... IPOD????

The woman who has palaces and jewels and countries at her feet now can connect to itunes to buy her favorite songs, videos and movies! Hope she knows how to sync the thing. (Actually the queen already has an ipod as we found out later from a palace spokesperson)

WOW. Who is this guy kidding? He needs to learn that Presidential gifts shouldn't necessarily come from Best Buy.
