He Just Wants to be One of the Popular Kids.

In this week's Time magazine, MODERATE Republican David Frum, boils down what he sees as the problem of the Republican Party, mainly that it is TOO conservative.

He writes:
...The time has come to restore the center to the center-right coalition. Maybe it's even time to start a new convention so the centrists can meet face to face at least once a year, just as their conservative colleagues do. CenPAC, anyone?

Frum is wrong. The Republican party in recent years has proven that it has a winning platform when the candidates are true-blue conservatives. Rudy Giuliani for President anyone? Mayor Michael Bloomberg...INDEPENDENT. 'Nuff said.

The true problem with the Republican party is that we conservatives let moderates like Frum in at all. He and his ilk only write columns that pander to the moderates in the Democratic Party so they won't be laughed out of town at cocktail and dinner parties.
