It is that time of the week again...time for a new poll!

This week's poll is related to the sinking stock market, a place where mine and probably your, retirement resides! Neil Cavuto, economist and managing editor of Fox Business Network (and no conservative either) says that the stock market has always predicted a winner and a loser. The stock market loved Reagan in the beginning of his term which was borne out to be true over the eight years he was in power. By contrast the stock market chose Jimmy Carter as a big loser right from the beginning, and we all know how that ended...

If you watch the market, you'll know that we have now lost the last 13 years worth of gains in just the first 45 days of Obama's presidency, or as I like to call it, Obama's Reign-of-Fear, which some will tell you, crushes the argument that the stock market will make you money over the long-term. I disagree, and still think the stock market will do well over the long-term, because I firmly believe that the problem lies with the Socialistic policies coming out of Washington NOW!

Keith Olbermann was recently mentioned in Ann Coulter's column. Apparently one night on his show, Keith denigrated a low-level Bush administration employee Monica Goodling by saying, "that she got her law degree by sending 100 box tops to Religious Lunatic University."

When Ann Coulter responded by telling the world that Keith Olbermann went to the Agriculture College at Cornell University and took the majority of his classes in the art department, and did so with the intention of having "Cornell University" appear on his degree, it sparked an outrage. Keith responded by naming Ann Coulter "worst person in the world", a badge Ann is sure to wear proudly.

So let's think about this, Obama has to get into a slapping fight with Rush Limbaugh and Keith Olbermann is spending time responding to Ann Coulter rather than doing his job as watchdog. What a bunch of thin-skinned Democrats (liberals!

Recent reports coming from INSIDE the Obama White House say that the President is feeling overwhelmed by the job. Read this Red State Post for more info.

Supposedly Obama is not getting enough sleep. Well call the WAAAAAmbulance would you? Maybe he could get a little more sleep if he called off the Wednesday night cocktail parties at the White House that are being subsidized by the American taxpayers.

And Now You Know the Rest of the Story...

What is this obsession of the White House with Rush Limbaugh? Is it the White House's way of doing something productive that will actually help the country? No! It is the White House's way of masking all the foolish economic decisions being made that are helping no one!

It started with Rick Santelli's rant on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile and has grown into a crescendo of voices in opposition to the failed policies of Obama.

So instead of modifying their foolish decisions into something that would actually STIMULATE the economy and help the stock markets, the liberals, namely Begala, and Carville, want everyone to focus on Limbaugh. This will backfire because more people are flocking to Rush's radio show and he's enjoying some of the greatest ratings he's ever had. Good.

Obama will be another Jimmy Carter and will be voted out in four years because its like Ann Coulter said at CPAC, "If you think people were ready for change in 2008, well they'll really be ready for change in 2012"

Praise God!

Is Obama serious with this guy Gibbs? A bloated moon-faced schlub of a guy who is so sensitive when asked hard questions. Isn't that the job of the Press Secretary? Could you imagine Ari Fleischer getting all flustered? This video show just how ridiculous this guy is.



I guess he thought the press would never DARE to ask hard questions and is shocked when some true reporters actually do their job as watchdog instead of acting like lapdogs.

Who is the Head?

I say that if Democrats and Liberals insist that Rush Limbaugh is the head of the Republican Party, then billionaire George Soros is the head of the Democratic Party.

Which is worse you ask? Well the main difference between the two is that Rush didn't commiserate and cooperate with the Nazis. George Soros did join forces with the Nazis to steal property and hide that property from Jewish people.

Best Line I've Heard All Week

Tonight (3/5/09) on Hannity on the only fair and balanced news network, FOX News Channel, Ann Coulter was the special guest.

When Hannity asked her if Rush Limbaugh was the head of the Republican Party, she said this, "Rush, You(Hannity) and myself are the Navy Seals of the Party. I wouldn't want to be the head of the party because then you have to say things like, 'Islam is the religion of peace'."

BWAH HA HA! Good one Ann.

Ann Coulter at CPAC

This past weekend one of my favorite conservatives, Ann Coulter, gave a rousing speech at the Conservative Political Action Committee or CPAC. I've posted it here for you to enjoy. It is a three part video so be sure to watch the whole thing. Ann tells it like it is and calls the liberals on every single one of their lies.





I love how in part 2 Ann says, "I love how the democrats keep comparing Obama to Lincoln and Reagan (both Republicans) because they can't think of a Democrat to compare him too."

Does Going to Church Make You a Better Person?

It has been proven time and time again that people who are church-goers give more to charity, do more volunteer work, and have strong values. It sure beats some people who instead of really caring about the poor, are out worried if the spotted owl or the desert mouse will become extinct. Church goers are better people than the ones out there encouraging women to have abortions instead of teaching restraint, abstinence and birth control.

Most Christians tithe regularly and when that tithe goes to the local church, it does more than just pay a pastor. Most Southern Baptist Churches have outreach ministries such as Clothes Closets and Soup Kitchens. They have a variety of ministries to reach the lost such as bus ministries, Vacation Bible Schools, and Sponsoring Bible Studies in areas of town where the church doesn't have a physical location.

What do godless liberals do? They call George W. Bush names, they force Drs., Nurses and Pharmacists to perform abortions even when they are personally opposed to the procedures, and prescribe day-after pills when their consciences tell them that it is irresponsible. They attack the church and Christians. They fight for the rights of terrorists who have killed innocent Americans and fight to protect wild animals from the onslaught of human progress, mostly to the detriment of humans.

So I'm gonna say Yeah, you're a much better person for attending a Christian church and living daily by faith than someone who does not.

There's Nothing Like the Good Ol' Days...

Check out this picture. It is the 1977 District Spelling Bee in Belen, NM. I am in the lower left corner looking off to the side.



This picture makes me long for the days when everyone went to church and children were raised with manners. When families struggled but took pleasure in the simple things in life. When eating out was something special, not something regular. When it didn't matter so much about the latest and greatest outfits and every teenager didn't feel like they deserved the newest and most expensive vehicle.

I just came back from visiting my sister and her family in Odessa, TX. Let me tell you about a godly family. My sister actually prayed that her boys would grow to love church, and they recently joind FBC Odessa and the boys want to go each Sunday. My sister cooks a wonderful meal every night for her family and going out to eat at the Rankin's is a special event. My sister and her family have a beautiful new house that is filled with beautiful things that they got BY WORKING HARD! We need more families like the Rankins. Yolanda, you and Dan and Zach and Drew are a light in this evil world! Thanks for being a family that has work ethics and morals and strong values! I love you all.

Victory in Jesus!

I just received the following email from Walter Bradley, Former Lt. Governor of NM, via the Baptist Convention of NM.

Yes, the Lord had a Great Victory over the same sex domestic partnership bill. Yes, all of you did a great job in bringing about this victory for our Lord, BUT none of us cast the winning votes and the issue is not over.

The supporters are trying to find a way to bring it back and we must keep our votes. I remember last year when we won with one vote to kill it in committee. Democrate Senator Richard Martinez cast that deciding vote. When he came to this session he shared this message, "Last year when I cast that vote, I was worried. When I got home I received over a hundred Thank You cards and people at church and the coffee shop told me Thank You. I knew I did the right thing and will do it again."

Our job is not finished. Each one of us, if we can afford it, needs to send 25 Senators a Thank You card with our praise. Nothing fancy, maybe as simple as " Thank You for supporting traditional marriage!, but Yes 25 individual Thank You cards. This card is as important as anything we have done on this issue!

This email was sent in reference to a same-sex domestic partnership and marriage bill that was being worked on in the NM state senate. It seems as though the bill has been killed in NM through no small effort by Christians there. For those who don't know, NM is one of a handful of states where issues like this cannot be brought to a vote, instead they must be decided on by state legislators per the NM state constitution.

Here's an article from last Friday's Las Cruces newspaper which lists names of those who voted yes and no.

The Internet, Everywhere You Need it to be.

Southwest Airlines is starting to test WiFi Internet Access on 4 of it's planes throughout March. No advance notice of which planes and which routes, but the airline promises that the 4 planes will fly all over the route map. During the test phase, the WiFi will be free and all that is required is feedback.

This is a long time coming but is welcome by me. I am a HEAVY Internet user and I appreciate the ability to connect wherever I am.

Besides the fact that Southwest Airlines is the only one "major" airline to make money consistently since 9/11/2001 without charging for luggage, etc, the addition of WiFi makes Southwest my airline of choice. I cannot wait until the WiFi access is implemented fleet-wide.

Wow, Another Tax Cheat.

Well Obama has done it again. Nominated Ron Kirk, the former Mayor of Dallas to be the US trade representative. Ron Kirk like so many of Obama's nominees forgot to pay his taxes on speaking income to the tune of $9,975.

What is it with Democrats that don't pay taxes and why does Obama know so many?

A Fight is Brewing...

I would like you to watch Obama's weekly address.



When Obama tells us that he is gearing up for a fight against lobbyists and special interest, what he fails to understand is he is going to be fighting ALL the conservative citizens of this country, 58 million, who didn't vote for him. This kind of rhetoric is awful and is condescending to good conservative citizens. Obama should be ashamed of himself for talking to us like that.

Though invocations have long been commonplace at presidential inaugurations and certain events like graduations or religious services at which presidents are guests, the practice of commissioning and vetting prayers for presidential rallies is unprecedented in modern history, according to religion and politics experts…

“If a similar thing had been done by President Bush’s White House, I guarantee you there would have been a lot of people crying foul,” says Bill Wichterman, deputy director of the Office of Public Liaison under President George W. Bush. “Democrats can do this with immunity, but when Republicans do it, it becomes controversial.”…

[M]any church/state experts are unfamiliar with the program. “The only thing worse than having these prayers in the first place is to have them vetted, because it entangles the White House in core theological matters,” Barry W. James Bing, the pastor of the Friendship Baptist Church in Fort Myers, Fla., said he chose to self-censor his prayer. “For some strange reason, the word Jesus is like pouring gasoline on fire for some people in this country,” he said. “You learn how to work around that.

Pardon me, but a true-blue Christian wouldn't be monitoring prayers said at his events. True Christians aren't afraid of saying Jesus and standing behind their convictions. Need I say more?

This is one step away from full-blown persecution of Christians, you know the ones who aren't afraid to say JESUS!

Double Standard, OMGosh I'm Tired of Having to Say That.

Once again, the liberals have a double standard going on. Read this Red State Posting, for a better understanding of what is going on right now.

Liberals will howl and scream and say that all those cartoons mocking conservatives and Republicans are satire and comedy as they always do. As they did to justify attacking Sarah Palin and others. Like the Red State columnist says, "...where is the anger from Reverend Al Sharpton when cartoonists were attacking Condolezza Rice?"

Another example of how liberals want it both ways. What would they say if we told them, "We'll give this President the same respect you gave Bush?"

Rewriting History.

I paid a visit to the Official White House website recently and came upon a section devoted to the Presidential Pets since World War II. Well guess what I found, apparently George W. Bush's pets don't make the cut. If you didn't know, and depended on this section of the website for information, you would think that Bill Clinton was the last President before Obama. This is an outrage and a disservice to GWB's distinguished eight years of service.

How about the water bottles sitting on the antique table in the Blue Room. Appalling! The White House besides being a sacred place in the US, is also a National Monument and deserves to be treated as such. I don't have a problem with the President needing a sip of water but hide the bottles! I have a feeling that this was staged to make Obama look like an "Ordinary Joe" but it looks so incredibly staged and phony that it just drives the point home even further that he is an elitist!

Supposedly the Obamas are going to return glamour to the White House, but this ain't it.

Don't Tread on Me...and My Beliefs

Well it's official, Sean Penn, cue card reader extraordinaire...er I mean critically acclaimed actor, has won the Best Actor Oscar for his work in "Milk".
I recorded the Oscars this year since I had to work, and later when watching it, fast-forwarded through his speech. Then I heard from a friend (thanks Sus) that his speech was about equality for all, so I went back and watched it on YouTube and posted it here for you to hear it as well.



Do you know that if Gay marriage is made legal that Christians will no longer be able to go to their church and hear sermons on the issue? Making Gay Marriage legal will not only strip of us of our ability to preach against something that is biblically wrong but will make it a hate crime to do so! That is infringing on my civil rights and I don't appreciate it.

Gay people are always complaining about how they as people are more than the acts they perform in their bedroom, so why would you want to advertise that you are now married to someone of the same sex? Human nature being what it is, the first thing a lot of people will think of, when confronted with that, is what these people are doing in their bedrooms. I despise labels and I firmly believe that people can do as they please within their own homes but when Christians are branded as hate-mongers for expressing their perspective so some others can deluge us and our children with sinful lifestyles, I say ENOUGH!

Parry and Thrust.

This Tuesday night, Obama will give what is traditionally called, "The State of the Union" but is called "Address to the Nation" when it is the President's first such address. Although I'm interestd to see what he says, the part I'm really looking forward to is the Republican response. It will be delivered by Gov. Bobby Jindal (R) Louisiana, a rising star in the Republican party who is also a TRUE CONSERVATIVE!!!

I would encourage everyone to tune in and watch the whole thing Tuesday night. I will be blogging the whole thing that evening as well.

And They Say No One Sends Out Thank-You Cards Anymore...

Congratulations Barack Hussein Obama:

1. For bringing Chicago-style political corruption and intimidation to a national level.
2. For raising untold millions of illegal foreign and domestic campaign contributions through a system without even modest levels of controls.
3. For effectively hiding your complete disregard for the Constitution and its irrelevance as written by old, white, European males centuries ago.
4. For calling for a "fundamental transformation" of America and effectively labeling it, "change", while really pedaling an old and discredited Marxist agenda of wealth redistribution and a political philosophy that government should manage its citizenry by taking from each according to his ability and distributing to each according to his needs.
5. For insisting that the Bill of Rights was a modest first step and that a second Bill of Rights is needed to guarantee that all Americans are beneficiaries of certain goods and services regardless of whether they were earned and regardless of whether they must be confiscated from others.
6. For proving that dishonesty and corruption can, at least sometimes, overcome honor and integrity.
7. For proving that symbolism can prevail over substance and competence.
8. For proving that playing the 'race card' can still be an effective strategy in the 21st century.
9. For pinpointing a defining moment in history where American exceptionalism has peaked.
10. For preparing the world for America's unilateral disarmament.
11. For proving the Founding Fathers wrong in their belief that a free press would not be collectively corrupt.
12. For proving the Founding Fathers right in their grave concerns about the "tyranny of the majority'.
13. For demonstrating that we really don't need to be our brother's keeper, or our aunt's or our half-brother's.
14. For demonstrating that charitable giving need not be an individual choice but done through government with the requisite government surcharge, of course.
15. For demonstrating that class-warfare can be an effective political strategy.

Here's an Idea....

I got this in my email tonight and wanted to share it with you.

AFTER THE VOTE IN WASHINGTON D.C. TONIGHT I THINK THIS IS SOMETHING WE NEED TO SERIOUSLY CONSIDER. IT IS CERTAINLY SOMETHING BETTER THAN THE STIMULUS PACKAGE.

Dear American liberals, leftists, social progressives, socialists, Marxists, Obama supporters, et al:

We have stuck together since the late 1950's, but the whole of this latest election process has made me realize that I want a divorce. I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but sadly, this relationship has run its course. Our two ideological sides of America cannot and will not ever agree on what is right, so let's just end it on friendly terms. We can smile, slate it up to irreconcilable differences, and go on our own ways.

Here is a model dissolution agreement:

Our two groups can equitably divide up the country by landmass each taking a portion. That will be the difficult part, but I am sure our two sides can come to a friendly agreement. After that it should be relatively easy! Our respective representatives can effortlessly divide other assets since both sides have such distinct and disparate tastes.

We don't like redistributive taxes so you can keep them. You are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU.

Since you hate guns and war, we'll take our firearms, the cops, the NRA and the military. You can keep Oprah, Michael Moore, and Rosie O'Donnell (you are however, responsible for finding a bio-diesel vehicle big enough to move them).

We'll keep the capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies, Wal-Mart, and Wall Street. You can have your beloved homeless, homeboys, hippies, and illegal aliens. We'll keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms, greedy CEO's, and rednecks. We'll keep the Bibles and give you NBC and Hollywood .

You can make nice with Iran , Palestine and France and we'll retain the right to invade and hammer places that threaten us. You can have the peaceniks and war protestors. When our allies or way of life are under assault, we'll provide them job security.

We'll keep our Judeo-Christian Values. You are welcome to Islam, Scientology, humanism, and Shirley McClain. You can have the U.N. But we will no longer be paying the bill. We'll keep the SUV's, pickup trucks, and oversized luxury cars. You can take every Subaru station wagon you can find.

You can give everyone healthcare, if you can find any practicing doctors (that is practicing, Howard Dean) who will follow to your turf (sic). We'll continue to believe healthcare is a luxury and not a right.

We'll keep The Battle Hymn of the Republic and The National Anthem. I'm sure you'll be happy to substitute Imagine, I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing, KumBaYa or We Are the World.

We'll practice trickle down economics and you can give trickle up poverty its best shot.

Since it often so offends you we'll keep our History, our Name, and our Flag.
